IEEE-AIM2020 postponed -Coronavirus outbreak

Dear Colleagues,
IEEE has been monitoring the developing Coronavirus outbreak.

The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. As you will know, in these last days also Italy has been directly affected by Coronavirus outbreak. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, we are very sorry to announce that IEEE-AIM2020, scheduled to be held on March 8-11, 2020 in Moena, Italy will be postponed.

The new conference will be held in the same location, Moena, by the end of the year on December 16-19, 2020 (please notice that the dates have changed with respect to our previous email for ensuring accommodation availability).

All registrations will be considered effective for the new dates.

In case you are not able to attend the conference in December, a total refund of the registration fees will be paid as long as you cancel by March 18th, 2020.

As for the accommodations, deposits will be held and considered effective for the new dates for the participants who have booked through the AIM system or through the website of the tourist board Val di Fassa. The balances received up to now will be reimbursed, keeping deposits only. For other bookings made through other channels, unfortunately we are not able to offer guarantees.

We will continue to work to preserve and further strengthen the high-quality program reached by this conference. We would like to thank you for the valuable contributions you have given both in terms of scientific presentations and program management.

IEEE AIM 2020 will be the third edition of the conference Advances in Magnetics, organized by IEEE Italy Section and its Magnetics Chapter. It will represent a forum for presentation and discussion of the most recent advancements in all the fields of Magnetics: theory, numerical modeling, experiments and applications.

The conference will take place in Moena, the first town you reach when entering the Val di Fassa in the Dolomites.
